About This Treatment

Dental Implants

Dental implants are the most stable, long-lasting solution for replacing a missing tooth — we place a titanium implant into the jawbone to function as an artificial root, then fit a ceramic crown on top that precisely matches your surrounding teeth in shape and color. The result is a stable tooth that works and looks exactly like a natural one, without affecting the healthy neighboring teeth — unlike a traditional bridge, which requires filing them down.

01

A permanent solution that never needs replacing

The implant fuses biologically and permanently with the jawbone — a one-time investment that, with proper care, can last for decades, unlike removable dentures

02

Protects your healthy neighboring teeth

No need to file down adjacent teeth as with a traditional bridge — the implant stands on its own without affecting any other tooth in your mouth

03

Preserves the jawbone from resorption

Tooth loss causes gradual jawbone resorption — the implant mimics the natural tooth root and preserves bone density and facial shape

Suitable For

  • Loss of one or more teeth for any reason (decay, fracture, accident)
  • Not wanting a traditional bridge that requires filing neighboring teeth
  • Discomfort with removable dentures or their lack of stability
  • Jawbone resorption from an old missing tooth
  • Wanting a permanent solution that functions and looks like a natural tooth

Not Suitable If You

  • Severe, uncontrolled osteoporosis
  • Uncontrolled diabetes (affects bone healing)
  • Heavy smoking (slows implant fusion with the bone)
  • Recent radiation therapy to the jaw and face area
  • Pregnant — non-urgent surgical procedures are best postponed

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to Your Questions

How long does the entire implant journey take?

From placement to the final crown, 3 to 6 months. The longer duration is dedicated to the implant safely fusing with the jawbone (osseointegration).

Is the implant procedure painful?

It’s done under local anesthesia so you won’t feel pain during the procedure. Some mild swelling and slight sensitivity for a few days afterward is normal and expected.

Can more than one tooth be implanted at the same time?

Yes. Multiple teeth can be implanted in a single session depending on your doctor’s assessment of jawbone condition and the location of missing teeth.

How long does an implant last?

With proper care and regular checkups, an implant can last a lifetime. The crown on top may need replacing after 15–20 years of use.

Do I need any special preparation before the implant?

We take 3D imaging (CBCT) to precisely assess bone density before finalizing the implant plan — sometimes a minor bone graft may be needed first.

Is implantation suitable for all ages?

It suits adults whose jawbone growth is complete — typically from age 18 onward, with an individual medical assessment for each case.
